GRANTS - A Little Extra Love

At “A Little Extra Love” (ALEL), our foundational belief is that the threads of love and kindness weave together the fabric of humanity. We don’t just see ourselves as another non-profit; we are a movement. A movement to champion the transformative power that a little extra love, expressed through acts of kindness, can have on individuals and communities at large. Our endeavors aim not just to uplift spirits but to orchestrate a symphony of change, paving the way for a world that is not only happier and healthier but also just and compassionate.

Our commitment to this cause goes beyond mere words. Recognizing that amplifying impact often requires collaboration, we are establishing partnerships with a diverse array of entities, be it individuals, community groups, educational institutions, or fellow non-profits. One of the ways we bolster their benevolent initiatives is through our micro-grant program. These grants, ranging from $250 to $750, are channeled towards projects that echo our core values, focusing on community health, sustainability, education, and of course, acts of kindness.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

Initial Review: Once you send in your grant application, our team will take a good look at it. This can take between 4 to 6 weeks, so we appreciate your patience.
Communication: We believe in keeping things clear. After we’ve reviewed your application, we’ll let you know if it’s been accepted. If it hasn’t, we’ll explain why.
Deep Dive: If we’re curious about your application, we’ll set up a Zoom call with you to chat more about it. We might also ask for some extra information or documents.
Final Decision: After taking everything into account, our committee will make a decision. If it’s good news, you’ll get an email from us, and we’ll send a check your way within the next two weeks. If we decide to pass, we will also let you know via email.
Continued Engagement: Even after we’ve sent the grant, we’re still keen to hear how things are going. Please send us photos, updates, or any feedback you might have. It helps us get a feel for the impact and see how we can improve in the future.
